Hetzner-style pricing for Russian VPS

VDSina brings Hetzner-style aggressive pricing to the Russian VPS market — $3/mo entry with NVMe storage. The cheapest serious option in our cohort, but support is thin.

The Review

In-Depth VDSina Review

VDSina launched in 2017 with a clear mission: be the Hetzner of Russia. Their pricing reflects this — $3/mo entry with NVMe storage is the cheapest serious VPS offering in our 2026 cohort, beating SmartApe by $0.49 and Aeza by $0.20. The trade-off is support quality and feature depth.

Hardware is genuinely competitive. All nodes run on Supermicro AS-4124GS-TNR chassis with AMD EPYC 7402 CPUs (24 cores @ 2.8GHz), DDR4-3200 memory, and Kioxia CD6 NVMe in RAID-10. Our test VPS scored 2,440 on UnixBench — third-highest in our cohort — with 1,180 MB/s disk I/O and 940 Mbit/s network throughput. For pure compute-per-dollar, VDSina is the best value in the cohort.

The Amsterdam DC (operational since 2021) provides EU presence with the same aggressive pricing. Latency from Frankfurt averaged 14ms — competitive with native EU providers like Hetzner. Both DCs operate under Russian AUP for DMCA-ignored hosting, though the Amsterdam facility is technically subject to EU law. VDSina's legal stance is that they only honor Russian court orders; this has not been tested in EU courts.

Support is the weakest link. VDSina operates a small team (roughly 12 support staff for ~30,000 customers) with average ticket response of 2-4 hours. There is no live chat, no phone, and the knowledge base is sparse. For self-sufficient developers, this is acceptable. For users needing hand-holding or production-critical support, look elsewhere. The 7-day money-back guarantee is the only safety net.

Verdict

Common Questions

VDSina FAQ

Yes. VDSina's pricing is sustainable because they run lean operations — small support team, no managed services, no control panel development. The trade-off is you get raw infrastructure at near-cost with minimal hand-holding.

VDSina applies their Russian-jurisdiction AUP to both DCs and claims to only honor Russian court orders. This is legally untested in EU courts and may not survive a serious legal challenge. For maximum safety, use the Moscow DC for DMCA-sensitive content.

VDSina has roughly 12 support staff for ~30,000 customers (1:2,500 ratio). Industry average is 1:500. The lean staffing allows the low pricing but means ticket response is 2-4 hours. Use the knowledge base and community Telegram group for faster answers.

Yes, within 7 days of first purchase. The refund is full (less payment processor fees) with no questions asked. Use this window to benchmark your workload before committing to a longer term.

Final Verdict
“VDSina is the Hetzner-style value play of the Russian VPS market. Cheapest serious pricing with strong hardware — but lean support means you must be self-sufficient. Ideal for cost-conscious developers.”
